Terms of service
1. Who we are
Coiffed is a trading name of WoofBook App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17157714. Our registered office is at Flat 2102, Legacy Point, 4 Victoria Road, London, W3 6FH. You can reach us at hello@coiffed.app. "We" and "us" means that company. "You" means the salon that opens an account, and the people it lets use it.
2. What Coiffed is
Software for running a salon: a diary, client records, colour formulas, checkout, online booking and automated emails to your clients. You use it in a web browser. There's nothing to install.
3. Your account
- You need to be 18 or over and acting for a business.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done under your login is treated as done by you, so use a good password and don't share the account. Add team members instead.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
4. The free trial and the price
- New salons get 14 days free. No card is needed to start.
- After that, Coiffed costs £10 a month per salon, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Every feature is included. There are no per-user, per-message or per-booking charges.
- If a trial ends without a subscription, you can still sign in and see your data, but you can't add or change anything until you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't do refunds for part months, and we don't do contracts.
- If we ever change the price we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
5. Card payments from your clients
- Card payments, deposits, saved cards and no-show charges run through your own Stripe account, connected to Coiffed. The money goes to you. We never hold your takings and we take no percentage of them.
- Stripe's own terms apply to that account, and Stripe's processing fees are between you and Stripe.
- Deposits, stored cards and any no-show charge are your decisions and your responsibility. Coiffed shows clients your deposit terms when they book online; make sure they're fair and that you apply them fairly.
6. Emails to your clients
- Coiffed sends appointment reminders, review requests and, if you turn them on, rebooking nudges by email, in your salon's name. You're responsible for having a proper basis to email your clients. In practice that means they gave you their email address when booking and can opt out, which every rebooking email lets them do.
- We don't send texts, and we don't sell or share your client list with anyone.
7. Your data is yours
- Your salon's data, including your client records and formulas, belongs to you. We process it only to run the service for you. Our privacy policy explains how.
- You can export your data at any time, and we'll help if you're moving elsewhere.
- If you close your account we delete your data within 90 days, other than what we have to keep for tax or legal reasons.
8. Things you agree not to do
Use Coiffed to break the law, to send spam, to store data you're not entitled to hold, to attack or overload the service, or to copy it. If you do, we can suspend or close the account.
9. Availability and support
- We aim to keep Coiffed up around the clock, but we can't promise it will never be down. We'll tell you about planned maintenance where we can and fix problems as quickly as we can.
- Support is by email. We're a small team, so you'll get a real person, usually the same day on working days.
- We take backups every day. Even so, keep your own export if your records matter to you, and they do.
10. What we're responsible for, and what we're not
- We'll provide the service with reasonable skill and care.
- We're not responsible for losses that come from your own decisions with the tools, such as a no-show charge a client disputes, or from things outside our control, such as Stripe, your internet connection or your email provider.
- Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you've paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that the law says can't be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead. Carrying on using Coiffed after that means you accept the change. If you don't, cancel and we'll part on good terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
